"The Confession: A Musical"  
Bird-in-Hand Stage 
“The Confession” musical is a captivating story of a young Amish woman caught in the middle of secrets and scandal and also personal heartache and healing.  Take a sneak peak into the lives of the plain, and  get ready for a roller coaster of highs and lows. The musical is based off a trilogy of novels by bestselling author Beverly Lewis. September 14- December 2.
 
Amish School Christmas Program
Amish Country Tours
With the input of a local Amish teacher, the script for a mini-Christmas program has been created to involve your group. We'll use those in your group to play the students. Stories, poems and Amish Christmas carols will be enjoyed by all.  Tour includes a guided farmlands tour and can also be packaged with theatre, meals, or other attractions.

Farmland Fun Tour and Taste
Farmland Fun at Verdant View Farm
Visit a 110-acre working dairy farm and learn how to milk a cow, feed a calf and take a ride on the Farmland Fun Wagon. Now offering additional "tastings" including, delicious cold farm fresh raw milk, local honey, farm fresh cheese, dried beef sticks and seasonally fresh picked fruit or veggies. You can even learn how to pop an ear of popcorn right off the cob in your microwave! Tours by reservation Monday - Saturday at 10:30 am and 2:30 pm. Allow between 1.5 and 2 hours.  Other tours of varying lengths are available.

Enjoy a typical Amish church picnic - good food and games are included!
An Amish Minister and his family will lead your group in a  hymn sing. Available April - October, able to be combined with other tours.

Come Quilt With Me
Mennonite Information Center
Hear about the history and origins of quilting in Amish and Mennonite communities as you put your own stitches in a keepsake patch. Each person can choose their own fabric, trace a pattern and practice the art of hand quilting. Then add your group's stitches to a quilted wall hanging to be sold at the PA Mennonite Central Committee Relief Sale held each spring. Your quilting will be part of a demonstration of love and giving to all humankind. Available all year.
 
Now open!  Lancaster County's newest attraction located in Columbia will feature more that 26,000 square feet of interactive exhibits highlighting Turkey Hill's role in the agricultural heritage of Lancaster County, including a chance to experience what it's like to be a Turkey Hill Dairy ice cream maker for a day by creating your own ice cream flavor. Sampling included! Allow 1 hour.

Jonah - premiering March 2012
Sight & Sound Theatres®
Sight & Sound Theatres® has announced the world premiere of Jonah for March 10 - October 27, 2012. This massive production will feature breathtaking effects including a multifaceted 40-foot tall ship that breaks apart right before your eyes and an immersive underwater scene with a shocking reveal of the big fish that swallows this misguided prophet. Tickets are on sale now.
 
Broadway Bound!
Learn what it's like to be a part of a show. For one hour prior to your meal and show, your group can explore an aspect of the theatre production through a private instructional session with Dutch Apple's stage professionals, randing from onstage basics to sets and props to choreography. Break a leg! Allow 1 hour plus meal and show.
 
Clip Clop and Shop
Enjoy the Kitch Kettle Village like never before with this new tour! Includes shopping, a horse-drawn carriage ride through Amish farms, a private dinner with special menu in the King House Restaurant, and hands-on dessert making. Allow 4 hours.
 
Zip Line Canopy Tour
The recently expanded Zip Line Canopy Tour at Refreshing Mountain Camp features a series of cables and platforms between 10 and 60 feet off the ground that incorporates 5 zip lines, a "cat walk" and 11 additional high rope elements. Take in the magnificent scenery as you fly safely through the trees! Also available as a night activity!  Allow several hours.
 
An Evening With the Amish
All-in-One Tours

Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, much like an evening in a friend's home, where you can spend the evening in an Amish home on their farm. You will sit down and have a catered meal with the family, talk to them, walk on the farm, and just relax! The family will share their customs and traditions, and would love to learn about the group's customs as well!
